Desperately needing a break, my friends and I decided to spend the last weekend at Niagara falls, ON. We stayed there for 2 days and a night, spending the time indulging ourselves with savoury pastries, ice creams, being silly at the playdium and just loosening up in front of the majestic views of the Great Falls.

We spent a few hours walking beside the Great Falls, posing and snapping pictures while chatting away amongst each other. Then, we strolled along Clifton Hills, eating pastries and ice cream, finally ending up at the playdium trying to win as many tickets as we possibly could!

From having pastries at Beaver Tails to eating ice cream on freshly baked waffle cones, it was a sunny and fun-filled weekend at Niagara Falls. In fact, the trip was such an enjoyment for the photographer in me that I couldn’t keep my camera down; I just kept snapping away! Who can blame me? Niagara is such a beautiful place to relax and gaze at the striking wonders of nature.

Its true how one can forget how beautiful local places can be and that you don’t need to fly away somewhere exotic to enjoy your view or have a fun time. This trip reminded me how local adventures can be equally fun and that it is often necessary to go to such local sites.
